Product FAQs

Choosing the right bedding

Common questions from yards, farms and trade customers. Can't find an answer? Get in touch.

What types of animal bedding do you supply?

We supply kiln dried (KD) shavings, season dried shavings, bales of shredded paper, sawdust, wood chip, butt chip and bark. Bedding is delivered on pallets or as bulk loose loads to suit yards of any size.

What's the difference between kiln dried and season dried shavings?

Kiln dried shavings are dried in a kiln to a low, consistent moisture level, giving a clean, highly absorbent bed that's popular with racing and competition yards. Season dried shavings are air-dried over time — a cost-effective option that still provides a comfortable, absorbent bed for everyday use.

Do you sell bedding in bulk as well as pallets?

Yes. As well as palletised bedding, we supply bulk loose loads for larger yards, farms and commercial customers. Tell us your quantity and we'll advise on the most economical format and delivery.

Is your sawdust suitable for dairy cubicles?

Yes — our sawdust is widely used for dairy cubicle bedding as well as general agricultural use. We can supply it loose in bulk for regular livestock bedding requirements.

Can I get a sample or advice on the right product?

Get in touch with your yard size, animals and how you manage your beds, and we'll recommend the most suitable product and format for your needs.
